I am Millie's grandson(in-law; but that's the same as blood to me). I really miss Grandma, and it still bothers me that I couldn't attend the funeral. I had just started a job, & the funeral was on Monday. We had a thing; we would always tease each other, & bicker back and forth just to give each other trouble. She was fun. I miss her dearly.

I will miss a real talented person and devoted friend. I was her music teacher at Columbia H.S.

I have waited way too long to write in Millie's book. I met Millie when she came to work for Vitro Engineering. There was a short time that we shared an office together and there is no way to express how much fun that was. We, along with Betty Hubbard and Janice Morgan, had many a fun shopping trip to Spokane and Yakima. All I can say is they were very memorable!! I miss Millie, I miss her checking to see if I am ok, I miss the "hi db" at the first of the call and I miss the "bye Babe, I love you" at the end of her call. She will always be my Millie. - db

I met Millie, January 13, 1971 when I first reported for my first day of white collar work with Vitro Engineering at the Federal Building.
Millie was one of the first people this young kid met. She was friendly and warm, yet professional.
This was a time when employees often times wore more than one hat working where they were needed and Millie took pride in all that she did.
Millie was an easy person to talk with and always seemed to listen.
It has been many years since I last saw Millie, but I will always think fondly of her.
Rest in peace, Millie.
